Are you passionate about Korean culture and eager to share it with the world?

The Korean Cultural Center New York (KCCNY) and the Korea Creative Content Agency New York (KOCCA NY) are launching the 2026 K-Creators in New York, a new initiative to collaborate with digital content creators who are excited to amplify the reach of Korean culture in the U.S.

This program will run from May to December 2026, inviting a select group of Creators(influencers) to attend KCCNY and KOCCA NY's flagship events—including performances, exhibitions, film screenings, culinary programs, and more—and create engaging content around them.

Application Timeline

  • Application Deadline: Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 11:59 PM (EST)

  • Final Public Announcement: Monday, May 4, 2026
    *Selected applicants will be contacted individually via email in advance to confirm their participation.

  • Orientation Day: Wednesday, May 6, 2026 (*More Details will be announced to selected K-Creators)

  • Program Duration: May – December 2026

  • Award Ceremony: Early December 2026 (details to be announced)

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Have at least 7,000 followers on Instagram

  • Have posted at least one piece of content per month for the past three months

  • Be able to upload at least one piece of content per month from May to December 2026

  • Be actively creating and consistently uploading content

  • Demonstrate a consistent tone and style in their content

  • Be based in or near New York and able to attend in-person events at KCCNY and KOCCA NY

  • Be committed to upholding the professional image and dignity of KCCNY and KOCCA NY

  • Be eligible to receive prizes and awards in accordance with applicable laws

  • Participants from the 2025 program are eligible to apply for the 2026 program; however, they will be excluded from eligibility for top-tier awards (Top 1–5).

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating content related to KCCNY and KOCCA NY’s performances, exhibitions, and events, or Korean culture in general

  • Upload at least one piece of content per month on Instagram. All content related to K-Creators program must be co-posted with KCCNY and KOCCA NY’s official account and must be planned, scheduled, and created in consultation with KCCNY and KOCCA NY both before and after posting.

  • Participate in the program orientation and year-end award ceremony

  • Content related to K-Creators may be featured on KCCNY and KOCCA NY’s official account through co-posting with prior agreement

  • The program is Instagram-based, and evaluations will focus on Instagram activity. Other platforms are encouraged by participants.

※ Important Note

- Instagram is the primary platform for this program. Content performance will be evaluated primarily based on engagement metrics such as reach, likes, comments, and shares on Instagram, as well as alignment with program goals.

- All official content promoted in association with the K-Creators Program (including any content using KCCNY and KOCCA NY branding or logos) must be planned in consultation with KCCNY and KOCCA NY prior to publication.

- Any unapproved or inappropriate content that may damage the image or dignity of KCCNY and KOCCA NY may result in immediate disqualification from the program and may be subject to appropriate legal action in cases involving defamation, intellectual property infringement, or other violations of applicable law.

한국 문화를 사랑하고, SNS 콘텐츠로 사람들과 소통하는 여러분을 위한 특별한 기회!

뉴욕한국문화원(KCCNY)과 한국콘텐츠진흥원 뉴욕센터(KOCCA NY)는 공연, 전시, 영화, 미식 등 문화원의 대표 프로그램에 참여하고, 이를 콘텐츠로 제작할 인플루언서를 모집합니다. 2026년 5월부터 12월까지, 선정된 참가자는 문화원의 다양한 프로그램에 초청되어 콘텐츠를 제작하고 공유하는 활동을 하게 됩니다.

모집 일정

  • 접수 마감: 2026년 4월 19일 (일) 오후 11:59 (미 동부시간 기준)

  • 최종 참가자 공개일: 5월 4일 (월) *선정된 참가자에게는 참여 여부 확인을 위해 개별 이메일로 먼저 안내드릴 예정입니다.

  • 오리엔테이션: 5월 6일 (수) (예정)

  • 활동 기간: 2026년 5월 ~ 12월

  • 시상식: 2026년 12월 초 (추후 공지 예정)

지원 자격 요건

  • 인스타그램 팔로워 7,000명 이상 보유하신 분

  • 최근 3개월 동안 한 달에 한 개 이상의 콘텐츠를 업로드하신 분 

  • 한국 문화를 알리고 한국문화원의 품위와 이미지 유지를 도울 수 있는 분

  • 정기적으로 인스타그램에 본인의 콘텐츠를 제작 및 업로드하며 활발한 활동을 하고 계신 분

  • 뉴욕 및 인근 지역 거주자로, 문화원 행사에 직접 참석이 가능한 분

  • 콘텐츠에 일관된 톤과 스타일을 유지하시는 분

  • 미국 내 경품 수령에 결격 사유가 없는 분

  • 2025년도 기참가자는 2026년도 프로그램에 지원할 수 있으나, 우수 활동 시상(1~5위) 대상에서는 제외됨.

  • 오리엔테이션 및 연말 시상식 참석

    ※ 본 프로그램은 인스타그램 기반으로 진행되며, 콘텐츠 집계 및 시상 기준도 인스타그램 활동을 중심으로 평가됩니다.

    ※ K-Creators 프로그램과 관련하여 뉴욕한국문화원 및 한국콘텐츠진흥원 뉴욕센터의 이름, 로고 등 브랜딩이 포함된 공식 콘텐츠는 반드시 사전 협의를 통해 제작·게시되어야 합니다. 사전 협의되지 않았거나 부적절한 콘텐츠로 인해 뉴욕한국문화원의 이미지 또는 품위를 훼손할 경우, 프로그램 참가 자격이 즉시 박탈될 수 있으며, 명예훼손, 지식재산권 침해, 기타 관련 법률 위반에 해당하는 경우 법적 조치가 이루어질 수 있습니다.

※ 상품의 구성, 종류 등은 프로그램 운영 상황에 따라 추후 변경될 수 있습니다.

※ 콘텐츠 업로드 기준을 충족하지 못한 참가자는 수상이 제한될 수 있습니다.
