JH Arts & IC Artists Series proudly presents an evening with soprano Jaeyeon Kim, an artist who is actively performing across the United States and earning recognition for her outstanding artistry and compelling stage presence.
Under the subtitle “Pop, Art Song, and Opera Across Cultures,” this special program highlights the artistic value of both classical and popular music. From opera and art songs to musical theatre, pop, and K-pop, the concert brings together the sounds that shape our everyday lives, bridging cultures and generations.
With her radiant soprano voice and refined expressive depth, Jaeyeon Kim invites audiences on a musical journey where classical elegance meets the music we know and love—revealing how diverse musical worlds connect, resonate, and beautifully coexist.
She is joined by acclaimed collaborative pianist Eric Sedgwick, whose distinguished career includes performances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera Guild, and leading artists on major stages across the United States. Together, Kim and Sedgwick create an intimate and dynamic recital experience that celebrates musical storytelling, cultural dialogue, and the shared emotional language of song.
