This October, Carnegie Hall presents the Carnegie Hall debut of Trio Azura, winners of the 2025 Young Concert Artists International Auditions and the organization's first-ever ensemble-in-residence.
Featuring Korean cellist Yejin Hong, the trio has been praised by Gramophone for its "intelligence and imagination" and "profound emotion," and won multiple prizes at the prestigious Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition in 2024. For their Carnegie Hall debut, the musicians perform timeless piano trios by Maurice Ravel and Felix Mendelssohn, alongside Jennifer Higdon's acclaimed first Piano Trio.
