Established in 1993 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, the Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts) aims to train talented artists by providing curricula for professionals of all artistic genres through highly qualified faculty and advanced educational facilities. The School of Dance is one of the six schools at K-Arts, and it cultivates professionalism and excellence of artists through training in areas that include Korean traditional dance, ballet, and contemporary dance. The K-Arts Dance Company, in partnership with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, presents a performance including Korean traditional dances, Ballet, and Modern Dance.
