The Sylvia Wald and Po Kim Art Gallery presents a special art forum. At 417 Lafayette Street on the edge of the East Village, the Sylvia Wald and Po Kim Art Gallery was established as not only a space for exhibitions and performances, but also a place for artists and people to meet and discuss relevant issues. The series, “East Village Forum,” will provide an organized forum of panels, exhibitions, lectures, and events. The subject, “East Village Forum,” reflects on the meaning of an artist’s biological age and art development. Specific subtopics of this discussion on November 9th will include “Maturity & Achievement/ Maturity & Artist’s age / Maturity & Art”. The invited five panelists have diverse backgrounds in the New York Art World.
