There is no place in the Western hemisphere where film buffs and the culturally curious can see as many new and classic Korean films as at the sixth annual New York Korean Film Festival, running this August 25th to September 3rd. This year the New York Korean Film Festival will be presenting 15 films from South Korea¡¯s vibrant, cutting-edge contemporary cinema scene. The featured films encompass all genres from horror to comedy, melodrama to action, mystery to period piece. This year, the NYKFF is especially dedicated to the hidden master Korean director Man-hee Lee by showcasing his most famous works on August 30th and 31st.
