About the Program
Calling all young storytellers and artists!
After enjoying a lively read-aloud with the award-winning author Aram Kim, children will become book creators themselves! Each participant will make their own mini pop-up book inspired by Tokki's Trick, cutting out and arranging characters, creating pop-up scenes, and filling in speech bubbles to tell the story in their own words.
Along the way, children will explore how characters, words, and pop-up elements come together to bring a story to life. At the end of the workshop, each child will take home a one-of-a-kind pop-up book created by their own hands.
