“Tears Still Grow”:
In Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of Korea’s Liberation

This year, as we mark the 80th anniversary of Korea’s Liberation,
the New York Korean Church Independence Movement Memorial will at last open its doors.

In 1921, the cry for Korea’s independence rang out at New York’s Town Hall. Now, 104 years later, that historic spirit will return to the very same stage—revived through music and the arts.

Following the footsteps of those who came before us, this concert will honor the past and serve as a promise for the future.

With deep respect for the noble spirit of our forebears, pride in our cultural and artistic heritage, and a commitment to share the values of peace and freedom with the world, we are pleased to invite you to this meaningful occasion.
