Celebrate Mother’s day (FREE for mothers!) with a chamber opera about a Korean tradition where Korean women, post- childbirth, are given seaweed soup prepared by their mothers, as the soup is believed to assist in recovery. This story, composed by Jeeyoung Kim, deals with love and reconciliation of a mother and daughter. Performance in English with English and Korean subtitles (libretto written in English)
