“A new Jazz violinist appears like a beacon. “West End” is not only a debut, it is a herald that someone wonderful has arrived in the Jazz world.” - Jazz Times

Yoojin Park is a jazz violinist/composer who hails from Brooklyn, NY, by way of Seoul, South Korea. Playing the violin from the early age of 4, her later pursuits to move beyond the conventions of classical music led her to study Jazz Performance at the renowned Berklee College of Music in 2006. From there, she moved on to earn a Masters in Jazz Performance at Queens College, NY, while playing the many famed local venues the city has to offer, such as the Rockwood Music Hall and Village Underground. Park has worked with the likes of producer Antonio Hart, bassist Lonnie Plaxico, drummer Montez Coleman, Pianist Victor Gould and Alto Saxophonist Godwin Louis. She was also a part of alto saxophonist and composer David Binny’s String Project at the Jazz Gallery.

Yoojin Park will perform features works from Park's debut album "West End", released under Universal Music International in 2013. The works are a mix of originals and standards that range from swing and spirited sounds to mellow and soulful vibes.
