Through feature films, documentaries, short films, and independent productions, the series aims to broaden access to and appreciation of Korean cinema in New York City.

Choi Dong-hoon's Tazza: The High Rollers (2006) takes audiences into the high-stakes world of underground gambling, where ambition, deception, and betrayal intertwine. Driven by the desire to become a master gambler, a young man enters a dangerous world where quick hands, sharp instincts, and ruthless determination are essential for survival. As fortunes shift and alliances are tested, he discovers that in a game ruled by greed and desire, trust is a luxury few can afford. Through its gripping narrative and intricate psychological battles, the film explores the complexities of human desire and the choices people make in pursuit of wealth and success.

Based on the immensely popular comic series by HEO Yeong-man and KIM Sae-yeong, Tazza: The High Rollers brings to life a story that captivated millions of readers during its four-year serialization in Sports Chosun, beginning in 1999. Celebrated for its compelling storytelling, suspenseful mind games, and vivid portrayal of Korea's underground gambling culture, the original series became a cultural phenomenon. Its highly anticipated film adaptation went on to become one of the defining Korean films of 2006, captivating audiences with its dynamic characters, thrilling twists, and exploration of ambition, loyalty, and betrayal.
