A public accountant's salary is far too small for him to even get a cavity fixed, let alone support his family. However, he must somehow provide for his senile, shell-shocked mother; his malnourished, pregnant wife; a younger brother who will not work; his unmarried sister who is prostituting herself to foreigners for extra money; and his two young children. This movie, from the 1960s era, was banned in Korea due to its poltical context. This film was featured at 7th San Francisco International Film Festival.
