▣ FIGURE DRAWING CLASS

This class will introduce students to the basics of Korean brush painting. Students will practice in portraying the human figures using a variety of Korean painting techniques. Not only learning the principles of Korean brush painting, but this class will also allow students to explore their own creativity in contemporary art sense.

▣ ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Eun Hyung Kim (b.1977, Seoul, South Korea) is based in New York, Chicago, and his hometown Seoul. Kim holds MFA degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2008) and Seoul National University (2006). He also attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2007).

Kim has participated in numerous shows internationally, including Paris, Helsinki, Cologne, Chicago, New York, Tokyo, and Seoul. He has had several solo exhibitions at Gaia Gallery in Seoul and Gallery 400 in Chicago.
