Synopsis: Was I ever a son to you?
Orphaned as a child, Tae-seob was raised in his uncle’s butcher shop, working without pay and calling the man “father” in return. Now grown, Tae-seob asks for wages to start a new life with the woman he loves but is met with cold dismissal. Yet when he discovers his uncle freely spending money to hide an affair, Tae-seob sees an opportunity. But as he pulls one thread after another, Tae-seob finds himself trapped in a web of deceit far more dangerous than he imagined, where every step forward leads deeper into betrayal, and nothing unfolds as expected.

◆ YOO HYOUNG-JOON studied Character Animation at CalArts and Film Directing at the Korea National University of Arts. His animated short KINCET SIDE (2019) was officially selected at the Bucheon International Animation Festival, and Dream Seller (2020) was invited to the ANIMAZE Montreal International Animation Festival. His work explores the gray areas and quiet ironies of the world.
