K-pop music has already influenced every kind of contemporary sound, from the Billboard charts to the Broadway stage. Now, in collaboration with the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, K-pop's unstoppable beats and powerful melodies take over Lincoln Center for a dance party series designed for all fans of the genre.
DJ Alter Kilo, a music producer and DJ based in New York, drops beat after beat, bringing live mash-ups mixing K-pop and electronic dance music representing his one-of-a-kind style. As a current resident DJ at Mission Nightclub New York, he has shared the stage with notable artists such as Minzy from 2NE1, Yetep, ARMNHMR, and Ray Ray, among others.
The evening begins with a short movement tutorial from a musical theatre actress, Lina Rose Lee, so bring a friend or meet a new one on the dance floor and prepare to live out all your K-pop dreams!
The event is approximately 2 hours.

DJ Alter Kilo (Daniel Jeong) is a music producer and DJ based in New York where he is quickly gaining prominence. It is Alter Kilo’s unique style and creativity that makes him, and his performances, a truly singular experience.
After graduating from Rutgers University with the plan of applying to medical school, it seems life has given way to a different path for Alter Kilo. Never being able to shed his passion for music, he studied sound and audio engineering at SAE NY and it was here where his passion for music was not only affirmed but his talents validated.
In 2020, amidst the pandemic lockdowns, he was granted the opportunity to live-stream on Twitch for Mission Nightclub New York and seized the opportunity where he thinks back on it saying “It is funny how years of hard work all comes down to a one and a half hour set. One mistake and that would have been it. I am blessed that I was able to perform to the best of my abilities that night”.
Currently, Alter Kilo is a resident DJ at Mission Nightclub New York, performing with the likes of Minzy from 2NE1, Yetep, ARMNHMR, Ray Ray to name a few. Mission, uniquely aiming to cater to the Asian demographic, Alter Kilo used this platform to his advantage, showcasing his abilities to mix original, live mash-ups of globally popular K-Pop songs from groups such as BLACKPINK, BTS and NewJeans. K-Pop songs that weren’t “club friendly” originally were now popular hits with Alter Kilo’s unique ability to mix Electronic Dance Music with K-Pop.

Lina Rose Lee was born and raised in Korea. She is a musical theatre actress based in New York City, known for her debut on Broadway in the musical "KPOP." Lina is also a popular YouTuber with over 110,000 followers on her channel "Lina Rose Lee," where she is best known for her captivating "K-Pop in Public" series.
