◆ Program

Works by Kim Hyo-Geun, R. Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn, Puccini, Mozart, Massenet, Verdi, and traditional Korean works.

Jeongga is a traditional Korean vocal music enjoyed by the intellectual class during the Joseon Dynasty, known for its refined and elegant melodies. Kim Nari creates modern yet traditionally colored songs based on the distinctive sound of Jeongga. The highlight of this performance is the minimal use of accompaniment instruments such as gayageum or yanggeum, aiming to create a Korean and beautiful harmony with the diverse personalities of the seven Jeongga vocalists. The message embedded in this performance revolves around love, nature, and our lives.
