NYPL World Literature Festival presents: In Conversation with Franches Cha. Join us as we welcome author, Frances Cha, in conversation in Korean and English. 

* The New York Public Library’s World Literature Festival celebrates books and writers from around the world and reflects the languages spoken in the communities. 

Frances Cha is the author of the novel If I Had Your Face, which was set in contemporary South Korea and named one of the Best Books of the Year by Time Magazine, NPR and BBC, among other publications. She worked as the travel and culture editor for CNN in Seoul and Hong Kong, and currently teaches fiction at Columbia University. Her children’s book The Goblin Twins, about a pair of mischievous dokkaebi brothers, is forthcoming from Penguin Random House in September 2023.

HYBRID PROGRAM FORMAT: This is a hybrid event, and will take place both in person and over Zoom.
