Through the Traveling Korean Film
Series, the Korean Cultural Service
in New York seeks to bring the artistry
of Korean cinema to organizations and
individuals outside New York City. Once
each month, the Cultural Service provides
a film, projection equipment, sound
equipment, and a large screen to outside
organizations interested in screening
a Korean film. We strive to create a
theater-like environment for the screening.
Hosting organizations can include educational
institutions, veterans-oriented groups,
senior centers and other groups.
The program is completely free and
is open to groups that can provide
an audience of approximately 50 people
and have a location within two hours
of New York City. At this time, the
program is open only to groups located
outside New York City. To see if your
group would be eligible to participate
in the program, please contact Film
Manager, at
sc0103@koreanculture.org or (212)
759-9550.
As screenings are only held once
per month, please call well in advance
of when you would like to hold a screening.
