Set against the backdrop of Paris, the film narrates the story of two Korean illegal immigrants. Chung-hae goes to Paris to pursue his art education but ends up as a struggling street painter who plots various scams to earn a living. He encounters a North Korean solider named Hong-san who tries to enlist in the French Foreign Legion, and they eventually develop a mutual friendship. Chung-hae plans a scheme to use Hong-san’s martial arts abilities to appeal to a local crime lord. To their dismay, both Chung-hae and Hong-sa find themselves dangerously involved in the French underworld, which leads to devastating effects on their lives.
